Rolling out US distribution for ShortBox

I'm happy to share some good news today: ShortBox is partnering with White Squirrel to offer domestic fulfilment to our US-based customers. What this means is if you're based in the US and want to buy ShortBox, you will no longer be charged international shipping rates, but a domestic rate, with packages shipping through the US postal system. 

To begin with, the domestic rates will apply to box sales *only*, and not individual book orders. US fulfilment will begin with ShortBox #9, which goes on sale next Wednesday, July 18th. Post ShortBox #9 sales, I'll be reviewing numbers to see how to proceed going forward, and whether it's viable to offer US distribution on all books and orders.

Distribution/fulfilment within America is something that's been on my mind since ShortBox's conception, and now with over half our customer-base hailing from the US, it seems like a good time to trial it. In White Squirrel and Andrea Demonakos, I'm confident I've found a small, independent business who, like ShortBox, share a similar ethos is paying the same attention to detail and who are as committed to delivering a quality product securely. You can rest assured nothing will change in terms of the box: Andrea and I are working closely to ensure consistency is maintained with all books still being printed in the UK, and then shipped out to White Squirrel- not forgetting the sweets!

ShortBox has experienced a lot of growth this year, so taking this step is very exciting, and I hope it encourages more people to get on board with the best indie comics box around!
